Upon graduation, I returned to our home in Keswick, Virginia, establishing my shop and business in June, 2005. I also serve as an adjunct faculty member for the Piedmont Virginia Community College as cabinet and furniture making instructor.
In the forward to his book, The Fine Art of Cabinetmaking, Mr. Krenov writes that good furniture making brings “the quiet satisfaction of making objects that will endure and serve their purpose well, bringing pleasures to those who choose to live with them.” This sentiment expresses my ideals in making beautiful, useful furniture.
